The bootlog is basically the \u2013 much more detailed \u2013 diary of your RaspberryPI.<br \/>\nAll system-relevant events are entered in the bootlog.<\/p>\n<p>This is particularly useful if you are looking for the cause of a specific problem. Because you can then check in the bootlog whether anything system-relevant happened last (i.e. before the crash\/error).<\/p>\n<p>How you can display the bootlog is described in the following article.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Safety instructions <\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">I know the following notes are always kind of annoying and seem unnecessary. This program prints the kernel messages on the screen.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Filter bootlog for specific words<\/h2>\n<p>Da der Befehl &#8222;dmesg&#8220; ohne weitere Parameter den kompletten Bootlog ausgibt kann es manchmal etwas m\u00fchselig werden, darin nach einem bestimmten Schl\u00fcsselwort zu suchen.<br \/>\nSeid Ihr zum Beispiel auf Spurensuche nach einem Fehler mit einem USB.
