It can be used to measure distances almost to the millimeter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In one of my other projects (see <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/nerdiy.de\/en\/howto-espeasy-level-sensor-with-vl53l0x-vl53l1x-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ESPEasy - Level sensor with VL53L0X \/ VL53L1X<\/a><\/em><\/strong>) I already use this sensor to monitor the fill level of a rain barrel, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like many others, this sensor can be integrated into ESPEasy, read out and its data sent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following article describes how to configure your ESPEasy so that it can read out the VL53L0X \/ VL53L1X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Safety instructions <\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">I know the following notes are always kind of annoying and seem unnecessary.
