For example, in Windows you are used to being able to switch between windows.<br \/>\nAt first glance, simply \u201chopping\u201d into the browser, copying a link and back into a Word document that is open at the same time to paste the link there is not possible in the console.<\/p>\n<p>Connection problems can sometimes have annoying consequences:<br \/>\nFor example, if your RasPi is somewhere in the middle of nowhere and does its job as a lonely weather station with a very sporadic network connection, it can happen that your console connection is interrupted. The installation will then continue.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Start a virtual console with Screen<\/h2>\n<p>Screen is now installed and you want to start your first virtual console. This Virtual Console will continue to run even if your real console is closed.
