Looking for a foot rattle to accompany guitar playing, I had the similar problem as with the foot tambourine.
Therefore again: do it yourself. 🙂
Instructions to make your own foot rattle can be found in the following article.
Safety instructions
I know the following notes are always kind of annoying and seem unnecessary. Unfortunately, many people who knew "better" have lost eyes, fingers or other things due to carelessness or injured themselves. Data loss is almost negligible in comparison, but even these can be really annoying. Therefore, please take five minutes to read the safety instructions. Because even the coolest project is not worth injury or other trouble.

Requirements
Required material:
Required tool:
In the following list you will find all the tools you need to implement this article.
Collect required parts
In the following picture you can see the necessary parts to build your own foot rattle.

You can find the required STL files here:
Attach the retaining strap
With the help of the retaining strap you can attach the foot rattle to your foot. Therefore, you should choose the length in advance to fit your foot 🙂 .

The retaining tape should be stretchable. Such tapes you can find, for example, in the sewing supplies.

To secure the retaining strap in the holder, you can insert it into the slot of the holder and secure it in the slot with a bit of hot glue.
Fill material to "rattle
The two chambers of the foot rasel must now be filled with "rattling" material. Here you can use what you have available. It works for example with rice grains. If you want it to be a little louder, you can also fill it with small metal balls. Just try out what sounds best for you 🙂 .

After that, you can screw everything together properly. Make sure that none of the rattle material gets jammed between the lid and the housing, possibly leaving a slot open.
Have fun with the project
I hope everything worked as described for you. If not or you have questions or suggestions please let me know in the comments. I will then add this to the article if necessary.
Ideas for new projects are always welcome. 🙂
PS Many of these projects - especially the hardware projects - cost a lot of time and money. Of course I do this because I enjoy it, but if you think it's cool that I share the information with you, I would be happy about a small donation to the coffee fund. 🙂
