HowTo: Node Red - Reading SMA Sunny Solar Inverter Data

In the articles Reading data from an SMA EV CHARGER 22 wallbox and Node Red – read out SMA Sunny Home Manager data I had already described how to read out the respective measurement data.

In addition to these SMA devices, there is also an SMA inverter in my network. Its measurement data can of course also be read out.

In the following article I have described how you can read this data using Node Red.

SMA Sunny Inverter Requirements

So that the data of your SMA Sunny inverter can be read, it should already be in operation and connected to your network. If you can already read out the data from your inverter with the SMA app, everything should be set up correctly.

Import Node Red code

In this section you will find the Node Red code you need. How you can import this into your NodeRed environment is in the article NodeRed - import and export node code described.

To be able to use the node code linked below, all you have to do is enter the (local) access data for your inverter. You can find information about this further down in the article.
