Desto mehr man in das Thema SmartHome einsteigt, desto mehr fragt man sich auch wie man die ganzen Daten bequem und möglichst attraktiv ins normale Leben bringen kann. Eine Lösung für dieses Problem besteht in meinem MagicMirror project. I have another one thanks to Madalena (https://github.com/Madelena) when I came across your GitHub repo a few months ago (https://github.com/Madelena/esphome-weatherman-dashboard) gestolpert bin. Nachdem ich das Projekt etwas aufgebohrt habe ist der Ikea RÖDALM eInk Rahmeneinsatz herausgekommen mit dem sich ein Akkubetriebenes E-Ink Display aufbauen lässt, welches die Daten von einer Home Assistant Instanz geliefert bekommt. Um den Hardwareaufbau des Ikea RÖDALM eInk Displays etwas zu vereinfachen habe ich einen 3D druckbaren Einsatz erstellt, mit dem sich das E-Ink Display und die komplette Elektronik Passgenau in dem verwendeten Ikea RÖDALM 13x18cm (5″x7″) Rahmen verbauen lässt. Case features:

  • Precise fit: Unsere sorgfältig gestalteten STL-Dateien ermöglichen eine passgenaue Integration des Waveshare E-Ink Displays in den Ikea RÖDALM Rahmen.
  • Creative design: The design and the scope of the displayed data can be customized as desired. The published code can be used as a template.
  • Simple assembly: There are several options on the back of the frame insert to enable the frame to be hung vertically or horizontally. The frame can also be permanently supplied with power thanks to the built-in cable recesses.

Please note: No physical components will be sent. You will receive the files in STL format and must print them out on a 3D printer in order to build the project. This offer includes the STL files you need to print the 3D printable components for the eInk Frame application required.
