This housing for the @raspberrypi integrates the Waveshare Connector Adapter PCB and the Raspberrypi 4B in one housing and makes it possible to allign all connectors (w/o GPIO) to one side. This makes it much easier to integrate/use the Pi in a "Panelized" scenario. 🙂 Any feature that you are missing here?#diy #3dprinter #3dprinting #raspberrypi #rpi #makerlife #maker

I finished the first prototype of my housing for the new @raspberrypi Touch Display 2. This comes with a resolution of 1280x720 pixel at 7" size. Perfect to display high resolution photos. 😍But of course you need a proper housing. This fits tightly around the screen and integrates a RPi4 on the back. Also there is a place to mount an optional 40mm fan, a wall hanger and a standfoot is integrated. What are you using your rpi driven display for? 🙂#raspberrypi #makerlife #3dprinter #3dprinting #rpi #display #diy

🇪🇺 It took a while, but I've finally finished three new segments for the #PrintAirPipe system. There are now two fan segments with which either a 120mm axial or 120mm radial fan can be integrated into the system. Thanks to the support of @pcbway , I have also designed a suitable PCB with which the built-in PWM fan can be controlled and read using a @seeedstudio XIAO ESP32 S3. The firmware is again based on #esphome and allows the target speed to be set but also the actual speed to be read.Additionally I have now also published a filter segment to match this. This allows the pipe system to be expanded to include a HEPA filter and/or activated carbon filter. Based on this, I will soon also be offering sets for soldering extraction. 🙂 As always, I look forward to suggestions for other segments or sets that interest you. 🙂 More info at Nerdiy.de/papp#Nerdiy #Nerdy #caddesign #3dprinting #soldering #doityourself #electronics #technology #engineering #maker #esp32 #project #esphome #electricalengineering

I want to make the whole thing #ESPHome compatible and therefore have replaced the wind direction and speed sensor. (Ad/display)🇪🇺 Mail from @pcbway: A few new boards arrived recently. Firstly, a new revision for the #Anemosens sensor PCB. To simplify the hardware setup a bit (and also expand the range of functions), I created a 3D printable insert. All the electronics, including the battery, can be housed in it. Thanks to DeepSleep from the @seeedstudio XIAO MCU, the picture frame can run for up to three months on one battery charge and thus wirelessly. Since I have been working with the (here in Germany) successful "balcony power plants", I have been wondering how the energy yield of the two to four solar panels can be further improved. The Sunchronizer S1 is my first design of a solar panel mount for "standard" 400" solar panels that automatically tracks the sun on one axis. As with my past projects, I tried to rely largely on 3D printed components and standard mechanical parts. Ultimately, with this everyone should be able to build a solar tracker for their solar panels themselves.More info is available here: https://nerdiy.de/en/product-2/sunchronizer-s1-400w-solartracker-fuer-elevation-achse-3d-druckbar-stl-dateien/and here: https://hackaday.io/project/195626-sunchronizer-s1-elevation-axis-solar-tracker
